-My Story-
I am Abdelrahim Weshahy
At the age of 43, I made a life-altering decision to embark on a journey to Saudi Arabia, driven by the desire to create a better life for my family. Despite the difficulty of leaving my loved ones behind, I was determined to make sacrifices for a brighter future. The weight of the immense responsibility pushed me to my limits
But I also have also been a leader, and got certifeied as a transformational coach and an advisor to high level leaders. I’ve faced many challenges (in life and business) and I found my self getting approached when people I knew were facing challenges. Finding fullfilment in guiding/mentoring others, and having positive feedback,I have decided to take it as a profession.
While these expereiences have shaped who I am today, if I could have had the knowledge I have now, the road to success would have been a shorter route.
"A Vision That Ignites Action"
I am an accomplished sales manager, business life coach, and seasoned entrepreneur with a resilient spirit. Despite facing adversity when my startup was shuttered in 2011 due to the challenges of the Arab Spring, I persevered. Drawing from the valuable lessons learned during that experience, I channeled my passion into creating Ignite to Grow.
Ignite to Grow took shape through the principles of ikigai, represented by three circles: ‘Needs,’ ‘How,’ and ‘I Know.’ As I explored the convergence of these elements, I found myself at a crossroads, seeking to define my true purpose. Although clarity eluded me that day, I had a rough idea of the direction I wanted to pursue.
Yet, the weight of work stress and constant struggle lingered. It was during an ordinary day at the office, in a conversation with a colleague exploring the concept of ‘business life coaching,’ that the proverbial light bulb illuminated. Suddenly, everything fell into place.
Eager to embark on this new path, I returned home, and all the circles found their answers. The key to unlocking my potential lay in becoming a certified life coach. Within just three months, I earned my first certification, marking the beginning of an inspiring journey.
However, the story of my transformation does not end there. There were challenges and triumphs along the way that shaped me into the coach I am today. As I reflect on my pre-coaching journey, I am grateful for the experiences that molded me, and I now extend a warm invitation for you to join me on this transformative voyage.
